When people complain about the littlest things, I just wish they knew how easy they have it. Try having Type 1 Diabetes…. then you’d know what pain is.

i heard someone the otherday in primark saying how ripping the skin around fingernails when it peels off is ‘agony’ and ‘the worst thing ever’ ‘never been in so much pain, it’s so annoying’    i was just there like…really? try having to inject yourself everyday for the rest of your life, have blood tests every 3 months, get sick all the time, the list goes on…now that’s what you call annoying, i dread to think what that woman would do if she fell off a bicycle or even stepped on a piece of lego haha i’ve never heard someone moan so much about a pathetic bit of skin on a finger, sure pulling it off makes you wince a bit, but man… even i always count my blessings when it comes to diabetes - i think ohwell atleast i’m not terminally ill or atleast i’m not disfigured or disabled, so when i hear perfectly healthy people moaning about pathetic things it does really annoy me. oh and when people squeal over me testing my blood or giving an injection, just be thankful i’m not doing it to you.

i’ve been hanging out with this boy recently and he actually hyperventilated when i said i have to do a quick injection, fairplay to him but haha my opinion of him instantly went down into the pussy category. i’ve always hated injections, but it’s what keeps me alive, without it i’d die, so there’s no need for anyone to cry about it.
